Step One: Initial Consultation and Selecting the Appropriate Palletizing Solution

During the first call, IRIS Factory automation sales engineers will work together with you to determine your needs. This dialogue will involve outlining your goals, understanding the products you want to automate, and grasping the layout of your facility. Based on this discussion, you will choose the IRIS palletizing solution that best fits your requirements. Which Robot Type is Suitable: Collaborative or Industrial?

Step Two: Site Visit 

During our site visit, we will evaluate box size, rate, and cases. At this point we will know the best solution to offer you will be. At the end of the site visit, you will have a better understanding of what IRIS can automate on your plant floor.

Step Three: PO Sent And Reviewed By Customer

During this stage you and your team will choose your accessories for your new cobot or industiral robot. ‍Step 4: Understanding Collaborative VS Industrial Safety Options

The primary difference between a collaborative and industrial robot is that collaborative does not require fencing, while the industrial does. With a collaborative robot, operators can work alongside the cell using area scanners only. Due to the RPZ-MAX Industrjal palletizer being much faster, and able to carry a significantly higher weight per minute, it requires fencing around the robot to keep operators safe.

Step Four: Building And Wiring Of The System

The IRIS engineers will get to work building and wiring your system with top-tier components for the best fit and finish on the market. During this phase we will be in contact with you to get feedback on progress and adjust anything as needed.

Step Five: FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing)

Your system is now ready to be reviewed. During FAT we will make sure that your system meets all safety requirements and train your staff.

Step Six: Shipment

Your system is now ready for shipment! We will safely deliver your system crated and delivered using one of our trustworthy carriers.

Step Seven: Installation

After your shipment has arrived, our controls team will make sure everything is set up and running so that you are able to use your new system right away.
